This Grand Rapids home served as both McClure’s residence and his office for homebuyers looking to build in the West Michigan area.
Lewison Ave. in 1958 as it would have looked while occupied by McClure as a studio office and family home. Guests would enter the office from the lower door within the carport.
It is unverified, but the color scheme of the original house may likely have been Cherokee Red. Source: West Michigan Modern
The home still retains some mid century details throughout including some carpets, wood paneling and doors, and a period bathroom.
